Interview Waiver Eligibility Check
Answer the following questions to quickly determine if you qualify for interview waiver renewal. If all criteria are met, you can renew without an interview!
I am at least 14 years old and under 80 years old
Interview waiver has age restrictions; those under 14 or over 80 need an interview
I hold or have held a US B1/B2 10-year visa
Only applicable to B1/B2 business/tourist visas
My previous US visa is still valid or expired less than 48 months ago
Visa expiration cannot exceed 48 months (4 years)
I am applying for the same type of visa as before (B1/B2)
Cannot change visa type; must apply for the same B1/B2 visa
I am using the same passport as my previous visa (or can provide the old passport)
If new passport issued, must provide old passport original
My previous visa application was never denied
If there's a denial history, interview may be required
I have not violated US immigration law or overstayed in the US
Good entry/exit record is important for interview waiver
I am currently applying from within my home country
Interview waiver renewal must be submitted in your home country
